Transparent Pricing

One flat fee.
No surprises.

We show you the cost before you submit anything, and you are only charged for a completed clinician review — if no clinician reviews your case, you are refunded in full. No games.

The visit fee

One fee covers everything on the PrescriberNow side. Pharmacy fills are separate and billed directly by your pharmacy.

Telehealth Evaluation

$59.99

per visit — one-time, no subscription

  • Licensed provider review — a board-certified, state-licensed clinician reads your intake, reviews your history, and makes a clinical determination.
  • E-prescription if appropriate — sent directly to your chosen pharmacy via secure e-prescribing. A prescription is a clinical decision, not a guarantee.
  • Provider follow-up questions — if the clinician needs clarification before deciding, those messages are included at no extra charge.
  • HIPAA-secure visit record — your intake and provider assessment are stored in your patient record, accessible any time from your account.
  • You pay for the review, not an outcome — your $59.99 covers a licensed clinician's complete review of your case. If no clinician reviews your case, you're refunded in full — automatically.

Weight-loss program visits are $49.99. Prescription is not guaranteed. The visit fee covers clinical evaluation only. Pharmacy fills are billed separately by your pharmacy and may be covered by insurance or discount cards. Sales tax may apply where required by state law.

$

No Surprises Act

PrescriberNow does not bill insurance for the telehealth visit fee, so the federal No Surprises Act balance-billing protections apply differently here — you pay the flat $59.99 displayed, period. No insurer negotiation, no surprise balance bill. If we ever add insurance billing for visits, we will provide a Good Faith Estimate before you pay.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the visit fee flat, not insurance-billed?

Insurance billing for telehealth involves significant administrative overhead, payer-specific rules, prior authorization delays, and surprise balances that confuse patients. A transparent flat fee means you know exactly what you pay, every time, before you submit. We may explore insurance integration in the future.

When am I charged?

Payment is collected when you submit your intake form — before provider review. This is disclosed clearly on the payment screen. You will never be charged without seeing the fee first.

What if my prescription is not covered by insurance?

The PrescriberNow visit fee is unrelated to pharmacy costs. For the medication itself, ask your pharmacist about your insurance coverage or a free discount card such as GoodRx, which often reduces out-of-pocket cost significantly for common generics.

Can I use an HSA or FSA?

Many health savings account and flexible spending account plans cover telehealth visit fees as qualified medical expenses. Check with your plan administrator to confirm. We provide an itemized receipt for every visit that you can submit for reimbursement.

Is there a subscription or recurring charge?

No. PrescriberNow charges per visit. There is no membership fee, no auto-renewing subscription, and no minimum number of visits. Each visit is a separate, one-time charge.

What if I need a follow-up visit?

Each clinical question or new condition requires a new $59.99 intake submission. A follow-up for the same ongoing issue reviewed within 30 days may qualify for a waived fee at provider discretion — the provider will indicate this in their message to you.
